WOJ Challenge #180 - For the Boys

Hello everyone, time for a new challenge at Whiff of Joy Challenges. A nice and easy one, 'For the Boys'.

I created a gift tag using the awesome new WOJ 'Large Nested Tag Die-Lights'. Tags are great to add a personal touch to a bottle of wine or alcohol so I used this cutie, Henry. This image is 'Shopping for a Romantic Dinner' and was part of a kit but is available as a digi.

The papers are MME 'Miss Caroline', Henry has been coloured with Copics, the 'Vintage Linen Button Twine' and 'Coconut Brown Satin Ribbon' are WOJ, flower and rhinestones from my stash.

WOJ Challenge - Spring

Another lovely WOJ Challenge 'Spring' and I created a tag with the new WOJ 'Large Nested Tag' Die-Lights.

WOJ Challenge - Lace

I am back, this time I've been playing with 'Baby Henry' and created a sweet little card for the latest Whiff of Joy Challenge.

There is a lot of gorgeous Whiff of Joy goodies on here, WOJ's Die-Light 'Tiny Hearts Pocket Page', the baby bottle is a WOJ Die-Light 'Bundle of Joy' , WOJ's 'Elegant Doily' Die-Light and WOJ's Satin Ribbon 'Moss Green'.

The papers are My Minds Eye 'Miss Caroline', flowers and leaves are Wild Orchard, lace, twine and button are from my stash.

WOJ Challenge #158

I am only a week late.....sorry for that but every time I sit down to finish this post, someone or something needs my attention :( You still have a week to enter this fabulous challenge!

So the challenge is 'Christmas in July' and here is my card using 'Christmas Henry Wrapped Up'. This cutie was part of the stamp kits from 2012 but you can still get him as a digi.

I coloured Henry with Copics and adhered him to some white Cardstock. Kept the design pretty simple and added some red washi tape, gold lace I found in my stash and finished it off with a tag and cluster of twine, a flower, leaves and a Christmas charm.

The charm is WOJ and so is the mini tag 'Sweet Tags with Hearts' and sentiment 'Christmas banners'.

WOJ Challenge #156

Another awesome challenge at WOJ, this challenge is a gorgeous sketch by the lovely Karina, I loved working with this sketch! You can see it here.

I have used this sweet WOJ image 'Comfort the Baby'.

 

The cute banner is a WOJ die, 'Banner Border' and the heart is a WOJ die to, 'Cute Hearts'. The papers are Authentique 'Journey', Basic Grey alpha's, Wild Orchid flowers and to finish it off some pearls and a little blue 'clip' from my stash.

WOJ Challenge #154

Now for some catch up blogging! The last WOJ Challenge #154 was 'Anything but a Card', this is my little project, a altered notebook.

This cutie is WOJ Henry 'Enjoying Spring'.

I used some older MME papers from my stash, finished the cover off by layering some patterned paper, a doily, flower, some washi, a mini tag and clip with some twine.



 

Then I covered and decorated the back cover and inside covers.

So I have been MIA quite a bit this month but I have been busy creating so I have lots of catching up to do!

So firstly we have the new challenge that has just gone up today at WOJ, super easy, the theme is 'Happy Birthday'.

Here is my card, perfect for a little princess. This is WOJ 'Maya Dressing Up', reminds me of my girl when she was little wearing my shoes.

Back with another lovely challenge, the theme this fortnight is 'SPRING'.

I went through my gorgeous collection of WOJ stamps and pulled this older stamp from last year, 'Henry with Large Flower', perfect for this challenge.

This fortnight's challenge is to use an animal and I have used a brand new digi release 'Diver Henry'.

Love and Hearts - thats the latest challenge that has just gone up at WOJ Challenges!

I created a tag with 'Kiss the Cook - Henry' to attach to some homemade yummies.

The sentiment and banner are WOJ 'Hooray', the tag I had in my stash (for such a long time!), Glitz Design pattern papers, Kaisercraft flowers and pearls, Maya Road heart chippie and finished of with some lace, floral trin, button and twine from my stash.

Whiff of Joy Challenge

Its time again for the latest challenge and its another stunner!

Challenge #146 is 'Favourite Colours and use Lace'. I always love my shades of brown with some pink, cream or blue so I used this cutie 'Baby Henry' and made a card with pink and brown. I know it says Baby Henry but I made it a girl baby by colouring in some pink to celebrate a birth of a baby girl! So this stamp is not only adorable adorable but very versatile to :)

Some of my favourite lace at the moment and finished off with WOJ button twine, a button, Whimsy sentiment, Tim Holtz memo pin and Wild Orchid rose from my stash.

First Post of 2013!

Hello everyone and a Happy New Year, I hope 2013 will be a fantastic year for you!

So my first post for 2013 is Whiff of Joy's latest challenge #145 - Celebrate, a great theme to kick start 2013, don't you think?

What a better way than to celebrate with a bit of yummy wine, this is 'Winegrower Henry'. He was part of one of the 2012 Secret Stamp kits but is available as a digi if you missed this kit.

I have used some Webster's papers that I have had in my stash for a while, the sentiment is also WOJ but I only used part of it, flowers are Kaisercraft and Wild Orchid, Flourish with a Bling pearls and the muslin, doily and tag are from my stash to.

I generally don't use purples or lilacs but I thought it was a great touch to the wine and grapes.

'Snow'

Oh, I wish I could say its snowing here but no, we are experiencing temperatures in the high 40's!! So 'snow' is the new Whiff of Joy Challenge that has gone up - Challenge #144.

This stamp is Whiff of Joy's 'Maya & Kitty Sledging', perfect for another christmas card.

The lamp post die is a new Whiff of Joy die that was released in Novembe - 'Christmas Duo - Sledge & Lantern' and lots of my favourites from Whiff of Joy - 'Sweet Tags with Hearts', the cute little snowman charm 'Christmas Treasures', Button Twine - 'Vintage Linen', Satin Ribbon - Light Pink and flowers, lace and doily from my stash.

 

Stamped a sentiment on the tag which can be pulled out, the sentiment is Whiff of Joy.

Holiday Magic!

The new Whiff of Joy challenge - #143 is an inspiration challenge and what a gorgeous pic it is! I would love to be near some snow and ice right now, our temps are in the 40's at the moment.

Even colouring this cute little snowman made me laugh, while we are 'melting' in this heat and drinking heaps of water, other parts of the world are all rugged up and drinking hot chocolate!

Had a bit of extra fun and made a shaker card and filled it with lots of little pretties - mini snowflakes, clear micro beads and some coarse silver glitter.

This sentiment is also Whiff of Joy and is from the Banners and Sentiment set.

Whiff of Joy November Preview 3

Hello everyone, today is Whiff of Joy's blog hop but unfortunately I have had computer problems this week and a medical emergency today so had to pull out last minute.

So I thought I would quickly post my card that was for the blog hop and tell you about WOJ Challenges latest challenge - #142 which started today and is a gorgeous sketch by Karina.

Now onto Challenge #141, although we don't do Halloween in my house I still created a tag for the challenge but created it for a birthday. You see....Whiff of Joy's stamps are so versatile and that is one of the thing I love about them!

Silly me forgot to take a photo and show you I have stamped the pumpkin twice and popped the second one one on with 3D tape to give it some dimension. Now the cat really looks like its inside the pumpkin!!

Brown & White

Yes.......that is the latest challenge at Whiff of Joy Challenges - #140 - Brown and White. I love this colour combo and the DT have outdone themselves with such gorgeous inspiration so pop on over and join in the fun!

I have coloured darling Maya and had a bit of fun with something a little different for me.

Pulled out my templates and some Distress Ink - was heaps of fun!

Papers are Prima Songbird, Tim Holtz mini paper clip and bits from my stash to finish it off.
