Whiff of Joy October Blog Hop!

This month, Whiff of Joy is releasing more special holiday images that will be perfect for all your Christmas creations.  Each image comes with one or more lovely sentiments that will help make your project extra-special. We are especially excited with our new die-lights this month. They are absolute perfection and we KNOW that you will adore them. Angel wings, snowflakes…and more! We also have a new German sentiment set and another gorgeous mixed media stamp set from Stephanie Schütze.

This month, we will be giving one stamp and one die-light from our new release to one very lucky winner. I have used Teresa Collin's 'Santa's List' papers, the sentiment is WOJ and comes with the image, the Christmas tree is WOJ Die-Light 'Christmas Tree' and comes in a set of three, the charm is WOJ 'Silent Night' and I finished it off with some Wild Orchid flowers and some red pearls and a touch of Stickles.

The Sketchy Challenges #59

I am a few days late sharing this with you but you still have plenty of time to join in! This challenge is a lovely sketch by Annette and you can find it here.

WOJ Preview Day 2

Today I have WOJ's gorgeous new 'Angel with Harp', this is a new release this month.

I wanted to create a soft vintage Christmas card with this gorgeous image so I went through my papers and found some My Minds Eye 'All is Bright', inked the edges with Distress Ink 'Vintage Photo' and machine stitched all the edges. Adhered a doily and then finished it off with some Prima and Wild Orchid flowers and a button with some WOJ 'Vintage Linen' Button Twine.

The sentiment is WOJ and comes with the 'Angel with Harp' image plus it comes with a second sentiment too!

WOJ October Project

This month's theme is 'Fall Decorations' so I doubled up on this one and decorated a box with a tag for a thank you gift!

For the tag I simply stamped 'Birdie Love' onto kraft cardstock and used white embossing powder, then did the same with the sentiment, the sentiment is WOJ's 'General Sayings II'. I cut around the image and left a border all the way around and created a hole at the top to add some WOJ 'Button Twine' to my tag.

I bought the box from a local store and was already the perfect colour for the Fall theme.

I added some burlap to add to the rustic theme and used Crate papers to decorate the box, perfect Fall colours. The leaf is WOJ's Die-Light 'Leaves Trio' and the rose is WOJ's Die-Light 'Rolled Scalloped Flower'.

I didn't adhere the tag, so the box can be used without my thank you note attached!

WOH Preview Day 1

This month Whiff of Joy will definitely get you into the Christmas spirit with a gorgeous new release of Christmas images and products! First up, I have 'Henry with Christmas Tree' and he is so sweet and so lovable!

Another favourite WOJ Die-Light is this new 'Christmas Baubles', so delicate and elegant, perfect for cards (this was a new release in September) and is a set of 3 Die-Lights. Papers are Teresa Collins 'Christmas Cottage', the sentiment is WOJ 'This is December', Kaisercraft pearls and finished off with a touch of Stickles.

TSC #58 - I sew Adore You......

Time for another sketch at The Sketchy Challenges! Loved the layers on this sketch and had heaps of fun so I hope you can join us to!

This is WOJ's ' I Sew Adore You', another image from their Sew Sweet Collection.

The papers are Prima, flowers are Prima and Wild Orchid, WOJ Vintage Linen button twine with a WOJ Sew Sweet charm to finish off the tag. The tag is WOJ's Sweet Tags with Hearts and some lace and pearls from my stash.

Eat, Sleep, Create............

I have a gorgeous image to share with you today, it is Whiff of Joy's 'Eat, Sleep, Create' and is from their Sew Sweet Collection.

I am still using up some of my stash so these are some older papers and the flowers are Wild Orchid. Love the bright fresh colours, reminds me of Spring but we are experiencing very hot days here!
