Sorry I have been so quiet and its been quite a while since my last post and 'visiting' everyone's blogs. But life does throw us some challenges and I had my hubby in hospital for a week and in another town so the kids and I packed up and went on a little adventure. We drove 905km on our own to go and fetch him when he was discharged from hospital, this part was actually quite fun! I will share some pics but first I have the rest of my Lime Tart DT layouts from February, using the Full Tart.
A layout of my gorgeous girl.
A layout of my hubby and I, a rare photo to get at times..........LOL
I know this is already a picture heavy post but I just have to share two pics from our trip. Firstly, this is pretty much the scenery and the road, it just goes on and on..............first big trip on my own :)
And then one with the kids and I at a quick stop on the side of the road, we tried our best to get us all in and take the pic at the same time! I am not looking so glam but hey I had already driven for quite a few hours already :)
I will be stopping by your blogs soon but I am desperately trying to catch up on all the things that were neglected last week. Thanks for popping by and for your lovely comments!!

What a story Colleen, I hope your husband is well again and everything is back to normal??? I admire you for driving that incredible distance with 3 kids(it would be several times zigzag through Holland lol!!)on streets where you seem to be the only one!! We experienced that on holidays driving from Perth to Busselton...sat in the car for hours and saw only 2 other cars on that entire trip...amazing!!!!!ReplyDelete
Your creations are gorgeous, love the flowers (did you use a Marianne Design Creatable???).
Take care, hugs Irene
Love what you created with this kit Collen! Love the photo with the kiddos too, reminds me I should get my camera out. It's collecting dust!ReplyDelete
Oh wow Colleen... your roses are so beautifull and complete your fabulous layouts so perfectly! What die have you used to create the light pink rose? It's an absolutely stunning one!!! Hugs from Switzerland, AngieReplyDelete
Irene & Angie - the large roses are Tim Holtz's Tattered Pincone die and the smaller roses are Sizzix's Flowers, 3-D die. Thanks for the lovely comments ladies :)ReplyDelete
