A Special Day

I have been holding onto these Bo Bunny Timepiece papers and these Dusty Attic Cogs because I was planning to scrap something of my boys. But NO, look what I did with them!!!

It sounds a bit odd but I had an idea in my head but didn't know exactly how or what.......LOL. So I just started cutting and went from there, I cut the diecut into three pieces, stuck the first down (the ornate frame of the diecut) then stitched some lace all the way around. The 'middle' piece of the diecut has some Distress Crackle paint and I used 3D tape to adhere it to my layout. The 'centre' piece I adhered and added some muslin, my photo, a clock and our wedding date. Everything is inked and to finish it off I added some Prima and a Kaisercraft flower with a Dusty Attic butterfly and of course my cogs, a bit of sparkle to my butterfly and some dimensional pearls to my layout. I had fun with my chippies again so here are some close ups.

So I am really happy how this turned out and I had heaps of fun to! Thank you for popping by and for your lovely comments, hope you have a fabulous weekend :)

Thank You

I have a pretty pink and blue 'Thank You' card to share with you today.

I decorated the inside of the card to but I didn't get a good photo of it, this winter weather can be troublesome....lol. But I layered two different patterned papers and stitched around the edges. And finished it off with a butterfly and some liquid pearls.

I used the gorgeous sketch from Jane for Pink Ink Challenges, first challenge and would like to enter my card into this challenge.

The gorgeous image is a Whiff Of Joy stamp and I coloured her with Copics. I would like to enter her into Whiff Of Joy Challenge #108 - Lace & Pearls.

Thank you for all your congratulations on my previous post and for all your lovely comments, they are always appreciated and love reading them!!

A Card for a Boy!!!

I have finally inked up my cute little Edwin and made a card for a birthday boy!! And there is not one flower on this card....lol. Now the pic doesn't do it justice, the weather is grey and gloomy :( I have used some Basic Grey papers with chocolate browns, olive greens and creamy beige.

Finished it off with a cute banner made of kraft cardstock, lace and twine. A Maya Road mini calender and a cute button from Purple Pumpkin.

I would like to enter my card in Magnolia Down Under Challenges #103 and Cute Card Thursday Challenge - Lace!I will be back soon with some more shares, thank you for popping by and for your lovely comments.
