He Loves His Family

Oh my goodness it has been so cold this weekend, so under layers of clothing and blankets I had a little play.



You would think it was perfect weather to get heaps done but this girl just isn't used to the cold weather any more. I pulled out my Glitz design stash and I managed (in the cold) to get this layout done.



This is a family pic from 2009, we are in need of getting some new ones taken. This months challenge at Glitz Designs is to focus on the men so this is for my hubby. And some close ups.











Well I am off to make myself a cuppa to warm up and hopefully scrap again.

Whiff of Joy Challenge - Stair Step Card

Another Whiff of Joy Challenge has gone up - Stair Step Card. I have to be honest, I think this is the first time I have ever made one!

This WOJ stamp - Maya Watching a Ladybug was perfect for my card. You can't really see to well but I have used WOJ's Picket fence die and WOJ's Grass die.



I battled to get a decent pic with this one, my camera was not playing nice with me. The front is in focus but the back isn't - sorry! So I tried again from a slightly different angle.



Maya has been coloured with Copics and fussy cut, the stamped flowers are from the same stamp but just the flowers have been stamped a few times, coloured with Copics and fussy cut. And then finished off with some WOJ twine (love this stuff!), a sentiment and Wild Orchid flowers.

WOJ New Release Preview

Today I have some exciting news, WOJ has a new artist Gina Elerion and her new collection 'Simply Maya' is gorgeous, she is so cute and I love the whimsical feel of these images.

This month's new release will be available from the WOJ shop on Friday and the lovely DT will be sharing previews from today so don't forget to visit their blogs!

I have used 'Picking Toadstools' on my card today, I just love her! She is coloured with Copics and I have stamped her twice, fussy cut Maya out and used foam tape to pop her on her toadstool.



The papers are Cosmo Cricket - Tea for Two, flowers and pearls are from my stash and some machine stitching to finish it off.

Lime Tart Gallery Release

Its that time again....woohooooo.........I love the gallery release each month, so much inspiration and gorgeous creations!!! So have a look here and see what the rest of the awesome ladies did!

I got to play with the beautiful Half Tart this month. First up I have a layout of my gorgeous family, its a couple of years old but I still have heaps of older photo's to scrap plus it brings back so many memories of when the were little :)

And then using these gorgeous bright papers I attempted to scrap a boys layout. A little different for me but I am pretty happy with it, ok maybe not the handwritten journalling though.

Whiff Of Joy Challenge

Woohoo its time for another challenge!!! This week's challenge #131 is a gorgeous sketch by the lovely Kathrin, I thoroughly enjoyed this sketch so pop on over and join in the fun!



I used this gorgeous image 'Birdie Love', and coloured it with Copics and fussy cut it out. The papers are MME Miss Caroline, Wild Orchid flowers, MME button and the lace and doily is from my stash.
