Hope
With all the fun last week with Whiff of Joy's new release and the blog hop, I didn't get around to post the latest challenge at Whiff of Joy Challenges. There is a gorgeous sketch by Karina - Challenge #134.
I was pretty happy with my card, I followed the sketch pretty closely and used some of my favourite goodies but I think it is because I made it for someone special in mind.
I love this darling image, there is nothing better then a warm comforting hug!?! So this card I made is for someone to remind them of hope and to send them a great big hug in a difficult time because I live so very far from her :(
xxx Hope xxx
Thank you for stopping by and give your loved ones an extra big cuddle tonight!

Quick, Quick.........
Yes.....I am just going to make this post ;)I have had this layout ready to post for some time but I have had one sick child this week with a trip up to the hospital and then my darling cat Miss Lily is in kitty hospital tonight so that was a trip to the vet this afternoon!
But here I am about to share my layout for a challenge at Lets Get Shabby celebrating their third birthday! The challenge was to pick any one of their older challenges, so off I went and did some hopping and decided to pick one that I hadn't done before. Who could resist this.....
Challenge #33 - Spring, the inspiration pic is beautiful and yes, I can't wait for spring ;)
This layout is of my gorgeous daughter and she is like a breath of fresh air, such a darling child and this photo was perfect for this challenge. The pink and beautiful flowers grabbed my attention so be warned lots of fussy cutting here!
Some close ups..........
Lots of fussy cutting with layers. Some have been adhered with double sided tape, some 3D tape and some with glue dots creating such awesome dimension but you can't really see it in the pics - sorry.
The papers are Crate Paper - Pretty Party, Prima and Wild Orchid flowers, Cosmo Cricket Tint Text and some plastic flowers from an old Lime Tart kit. Some texture paste, glimmermist, Distress ink, some muslin, staples, lace and some machine stitching!
Thank you so much for stopping by and for your lovely comments, I think I am going to have an early night and drag myself off to bed, we have a very busy day tomorrow! Hope you all have an awesome weekend!!

WOJ Preview - July
If you have been following my fellow WOJ DT members then you would know July's previews started yesterday and what gorgeous stamps they are!
They will be available tomorrow and you will be able to see them all in tomorrow's blog hop! Today I have this gorgeous stamp to share with you 'Tea Party' by WOJ's new illustrator.
If I want to give a small gift to someone like a yummy slab of chocolate, I love to decorate them for that personal touch, so this stamp was perfect.
I have used some older papers in my stash, it always feels good to use them. The image has been coloured with Copics and this little gift has been finished off with some muslin, flowers, leaves and a tag.
The little tag is a WOJ die and comes together with a larger tag.
I hope you enjoyed this little preview and thank you for stopping by and for your lovely comments.

WOJ Challenge
A new challenge went up this week at Whiff of Joy Challenges and I am a few days late sharing this but it has just been one of those crazy weeks :(
So the challenge is super easy and I had lots of fun with this one- Stars and Stripes. Perfect challenge for a boys card and I just had the perfect stamp for it - Policeman Henry!!!
Isn't he perfect for boys?
The papers are Authentique, some chipboard stars and a doily from my stash, Tim Holtz film strip, Kaisercraft pearls, I coloured Henry with Copics and the sentiment is also Whiff of Joy.
Another close up.
Thank you for stopping by and for your lovely comments, they are always appreciated! I hope you can join us with this challenge :)

A Wedding!!
The time has come for the first family wedding since our move and we are not going to be there to enjoy this celebration. We knew by moving so far away from our family that this would happen but it still doesn't make it easier. So, I didn't come here to blog about my whining, nope I have a wedding card to share with you. This little card is on its way to the special wedding couple.
I used these gorgeous Magnolia stamps with Glitz Design papers and made a joy fold card.
The image is quite big so there wasn't much space to embellish this card but I finished it off with some Prima and Wild Orchid flowers, handmade leaves and some ribbon from my stash. Here is a close up.
For my card I used the challenge and gorgeous inspiration at Magnolia Down Under Challenges - #153 Shabby Chic and would like to enter my card.
