The other day I needed a male birthday card and discovered I have heaps of pretty girly cards but not much at all for boys! So I decided to use this great sketch to create a boys card, I am sure it takes me longer to create boys cards but I am determined to make a lot more.

This darling pirate is a WOJ stamp and is part of the Spring Secret stamp kit.

The papers are Authentique 'Journey', some washi tape, a bit of twine, a charm and  a button to finish it off.

WOJ April Theme Project

 

This month's project theme is 'Die-Lightful', using WOJ metal dies Die-Lights and what a gorgeous variation the DT used but with such an awesome selection, its easy to do!

To have a look at all the stunning creations, have a look here. I created a card with 'Simply Maya - Thorny Greetings'.

I used three different WOJ Die-Lights, they are 'Scalloped Swirly Border', 'Sweet Tags with Hearts' and 'Cute Hearts'. The papers are Basic Grey 'Lucille', Wild Orchid flowers and some twine.

WOJ Challenge #153 - Spring

Back with another lovely challenge, the theme this fortnight is 'SPRING'.

I went through my gorgeous collection of WOJ stamps and pulled this older stamp from last year, 'Henry with Large Flower', perfect for this challenge.

I have used Cosmo Cricket 'Tea for Two' papers, WOJ dies 'Sweet Tags with Hearts' and 'Romantic Swirls', WOJ 'Festive Occasions' sentiment stamps, Kaisercraft and Wild Orchid flowers, Flourish with a Bling pearls, lace and twine from my stash.

The Sketchy Challenges - #45

I am so late in posting this and what makes it worse, its my challenge! I was so nervous as this was my first sketch for The Sketchy Challenges, so I would love you to join in. You can see my sketch here and this is my card.

WOJ #152 - Animal

This fortnight's challenge is to use an animal and I have used a brand new digi release 'Diver Henry'.

So cute, isn't he! I have used some bright summer colours and finished it off with a simple tag, Prima flower and blue pebble from Webster's.

I have used this awesome pirate image Malte the Pirate 'Terror of the Seas', he was so much fun to colour!

 

 

I used Basic Grey 'Serenade' papers, WOJ 'Button Twine', WOJ 'Vintage German Postcard' stamp, WOJ 'Festive Occasions' sentiment stamp and some muslin, fish charm and sea shells from my stash.

 

 

I added some beads to create the effect of sand.

WOJ - Pirate Henry

I used Basic Greys 'Serenade' papers, WOJ 'Festive Occasions' sentiment stamp, WOJ charm 'Baroque Keys', WOJ Die-lights 'Arrows', some muslin for texture and the tag and twine is from my stash.

WOJ - King of the Ocean

Today is the start of WOJ's preview week for April's release and I have an awesome image to share with you.

This is 'King of the Ocean', perfect for boys!

I have used Basic Grey's 'Serenade' papers, love the colours and the patterned paper of a map was perfect for my stamped image. The sentiment is WOJ 'Festive Occasions' and I have used WOJ Die-Lights 'Arrows', this die comes with seven different arrows. I added some muslin behind my image for texture, I finished my card off with a Prima button and some twine, a clock and paperclip.

Lime Tart - Cards

I can't believe it is April already and Easter has come and gone! However, in our house we still have what seems like an endless supply of chocolate - oh dear :(

With my March Half Tart kit I created a set of cards and a gift box to pop them in.

The top of the box is pretty simple with some handmade roses to finish it off.

I kept the cards simple as well, this way is quick and easy to create a heap of cards and by keeping the design basic, they are easy post and can be used for a variety of occasions.

I am off to finish cleaning my desk so I can finish my cards, I have been playing with WOJ's April release and they are gorgeous, can't wait to show you!
