WOJ June Project Theme

The theme this month is a 'stair-step card' and the DT have done outstanding cards, you definitely need to head to Whiff of Joy's World of Ideas blog and have a look!

This is my card, I created a centre stair-stepped card and used a WOJ digi image 'Lazy Afternoon'.

I used some older Kaisercraft paper in my stash and it is perfect for little boys cards! Finished it off with WOJ Sweet Tags with Hearts, WOJ button twine and a Wild Orchid rose.

Whiff of Joy Pocket Card

I coloured this gorgeous Whiff of Joy image 'Cosy Reading' some time ago and thought it would be perfect for a bookmarker.

So I made a pocket card with a tag, the tag can be used for a bookmarker.

The Sketchy Challenges #50

Another lovely sketch went up this weekend at The Sketchy Challenges, have a look here.

Here is my card, I used a Whiff of Joy digi image 'First Date'.

I added layers of patterned paper, a doily and some muslin to my card with some stitching to add some texture and interest. The papers are Cosmo Cricket 'Tea for Two', flowers are Wild Orchid and some bits and pieces from my stash.

Simply Maya and her Ladybug!

I created this shaped easel card last month with Lime Tart's April A La Tarte, its actually my first shaped easel card, had heaps of fun!

The sentiment is from the stamp set in the kit and I clustered some flowers and finished it off with some butterflies and pearls.

I decided to keep with the gorgeous tone of the colours in the patterned paper, so I coloured my image with Copics E40's range, I love the monochromatic finish. This cutie is Whiff of Joy's 'Maya Watching a Lady Bug'.

Whiff of Joy Blog Hop

Welcome to the June  Whiff of Joy Blog Hop! If you didn’t come here from the lovely KARINA'S blog, then head on over to the start of the hop at Whiff of Joy World of Ideas Blog. I don’t want you to miss a single stop on this hop!

Whiff of Joy Sneak Peek #2

Today I am back with another Whiff of Joy sneak peek, this gorgeous image is 'Busy Posties'.

Another new Die-light this month is the 'Rolled Scalloped Flower' and I had to use it with this stamp, such a cute image and the flower was perfect for it! The twine is Whiff of Joy's 'Button Twine' and the charm is a new release this month, it will be available on the 11th June.

Whiff of Joy's Sneak Peeks!

Hello everyone, Whiff of Joy's sneak peeks have started and you are in for a treat this month, such a gorgeous selection of stamps and Die-Lights! Oh and you can't forget the charms, oh so cute!

Notebook

My poor little neglected blog..........the month of May turned out to be a hectic time for our family. We have had lots going on and just when I thought things were starting to calm down, we spent most of last weekend in hospital with my darling daughter. She had to go to theatre for a surgeon to stitch her top lip, so after antibiotics, a tetanus shot and a trip to theatre she is on the road to recovery!

So this weekend I am catching up on house cleaning, wish there was no such thing as chores and I could just sit at my desk and play! Oh well, such is life but I still have quite a few projects to share with you, this is my DT Monthly Project for WOJ, the theme for May was a 'notebook'.

And I love altering notebooks! Something a little different for me, no stamped image! Instead I had heaps of fun with WOJ dies.

I have used WOJ 'Lovely Doily', 'Cute Butterfly Trio' and 'Fancy Hearts' border die. And finished it off with a WOJ flower 'Aster Daisy Light Pink'. I kept it pretty simple because this little book is for me to jot down notes, things to do, remember etc. so I wanted something simple and a little bit durable.
