Time Flies..............

I cannot believe its already the end of May, where has this year gone? May has been a pretty busy month for us but I did get some scrapping done but my little scrapping spot looked like a bomb had hit it, so this morning I have been doing some cleaning in there and I am sure this will only make me want to scrap afterwards.....LOL

Didn't think I would get time this month for the Aussie Scrapjack but I managed it this weekend so here it is.



Battled getting a decent pic of it, must be the yellow and there is alot of machine stitching but it doesn't show up to well. Ok, I off to finish that spring cleaning and I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend!!

Crate Paper

Crate Paper are having another sketch challenge, it is a card sketch but can be used for a layout, so that is what I have done using their gorgeous Pink Plum collection.



The photo is our first kiss as 'Mr & Mrs', I loved the half circle and that is why I chose to do a layout because it opens up and on the inside is our wedding vows to one another!

CELEBRATE!!!!!

I got some happy mail yesterday afternoon and I thought I would share it with you all. I entered a layout in the 'Celebrate' competition with Scrapbooking Memories and the craft expo and I am extremely happy to say I am one of the top 20!!!!!! So I had to send it off and it will be displayed at the expo next month where people will be able to vote.

So if any of you are fortunate enough to be attending, then please take the time to vote and maybe you will be able to see which one is mine!!!!!!

My take on The Color Room #6...... Loved the colours again this week and scrapped a pic of my DS when he was little and the love he had for his bike! He used his feet as brakes so he would wear through the front of his shoes on a regular basis!!!

Both boys are fighting the 'winter bugs' at the moment, so they pretty kranky at the moment, hopefully they will feel better soon!!!!!

And this is my take on it, I used one of the older range of papers (I have some yummy new goodies still coming!). Its rather bright but it suits my daughters 'cheeky' personality!

All BOY !!!!!

Today's post consists of 'all boy' layouts (well almost) hence the title..... So first up is my take on palette #4 at The Color Room.


My two boys are close in age and are very close, this photo captures this bond they have perfectly! Two very special little boys.....well their mum thinks so!!


The next is of my dad and I at his 60th birthday. I found this paper and matching embellies that were perfect for this photo of us. Growing up, I can remember spending hours playing cards with him.

So thats my 'boy' post, think that should balance all my pretty and girly layouts....LOL

Just a quick one.....

We have another public holiday here today and over the weekend I took the kids to the local park, hoping to get some photo's but that didn't go as planned. My eldest ds came off his scooter and had a nasty fall with grazes on his leg, arm and forehead, so no photo's for their scrappy mom :-(

On a brighter note, remember my layout 'The Look' I shared with you on an earlier post I did for April's Aussie Scrapjack.............well I was named as one of their 'Grinners' for the month and I am super excited because I had so much fun with that layout!
