Back with another layout :)
I had so much fun with this layout, I pulled out my stash of Glitz Design papers and got to work with this months challenge 'Celebrate the Woman in Your Life'. I used Pretty in Pink and a bit of Beautiful Dreamer papers , Rose Grunge Teeny Alphas, Beautiful Dreamer and Pretty in Pink Whatnot's and some goodies from my stash. With lots of stitching, distressing, inking, twine, washi tape, just to mention a few of my favourites and I even pulled out my masks and dies. So I am really happy with this layout and I have included some journalling on the back of my layout.
This is my sister and I, it was taken back in 2008 a few months before we moved. I can't believe I haven't seen her for so long, time does go by so quickly and I miss our times together and the kids miss their Aunty to! It was great scrapping a pic with the two of us!
And some close ups.............
So if you made it to the end of this post, thank you and thank you for stopping by and for your lovely comments!

Big Sister
I am back on this cold winter morning with a layout ;)
This layout is of my daughter and her youngest brother, she is only three years and four months older then him but she has always fussed over him.
I based my layout on Stuck's May 15th gorgeous sketch.
I used the gorgeous Prima papers 'Sun Kiss Collection', love the yellow! With some gesso, stitching and lots of Prima embellishments.
Some close ups.....

Jill is Two
I made this card for Lime Tart's Marker Monday and I just love this little cutie 'Jill is Two'.
Doesn't she remind you of your kids when they were two?
I kept the design and embellishments pretty simple and wanted to focus on the image. I have used MME Dilly Dally 6x6 pad, doily from my stash, ribbon from Whiff of Joy and the flowers are Wild Orchid and Whiff of Joy.
Its been a pretty hectic few days so a short and sweet post today and thanking you for stopping by and for your lovely comments.

Lets Get Shabby
I have made it with a few hours to spare, here is my layout based on Lets Get Shabby Challenge this month - #34 'Repeated Geometrical Shape Pattern'.
I used a Crafter's Workshop template and inked with Distress Ink - Brushed Corduroy to create the diamond shape in the background.
And look, even my jumper has the same geometrical shape! This is a pic of hubby and I with very dear friends of ours, even though we moved and live so far away we still miss them so much!
Some close ups.....
The papers are Glitz Design Happy Travels, some Dusty Attic Chipboard peeking out behind the photo and the little bird, they have been inked, sprayed and some gesso to get the effect I was finally happy with. Flowers are a mixture of Prima, Graphic 45 and some old Kaisercraft flowers from my stash. The lace I think is Prima, the leaves are a Die-namics die and I have used green card stock and inked the edges, the twine is from Whiff Of Joy. And then I lightly brushed the cluster with some gesso.

Lime Tart May Gallery 2
I love the weekends but they do go way to fast, wish there were more hours in my day!! So while I am waiting for some glue to dry I thought I would quickly post another layout from my May A La Tarte kit.
Another pic of my gorgeous girl, this was taken last year while we were on holiday. She is growing up way to quickly for her mum here, wouldn't it be nice if we could just press a button to slow things down a bit?!?
A short and quick post tonight, oh I thought I should let you know the June kits are gorgeous so be quick and grab yours early so you don't miss out ;) Thanks for stopping by and for your lovely comments.

Lime Tart May Gallery
If you looking for the Whiff of Joy blog hop, please look here.
I got to play with the gorgeous A La Tarte this month and Lime Tart's May Gallery is up, so if you looking for some inspiration, then have a look here, you won't be disappointed.
I made a set of three cards and even though the papers are 6x6 I made two layouts as well. I loved the fresh colours and to be honest I was a bit nervous with the chevron stamp but I adore it now!!
And some close ups, this kit has lots of yummy bits and pieces!
And my cards........I recently realised I have a huge stash of cards but mainly for girls so I really need to make more masculine cards, I will have to set myself a challenge I think!
This post is looking very picture heavy so I will be back with the second layout, I am so impressed I have posted this on time this month ;)

New Baby and a Sneak Peek!
Its been a week since I went away and I am still not on top of my housework, with a sick child and the endless 'to do' list so I still haven't finished off my creations with Finnabair, I so can't wait to get it done! But when I do I will be back to show you.
I have been busy but I can't show you just yet, maybe a sneak peek at the end. I have a card and gift bag I made for a friend a couple of weeks ago who welcomed a new little baby into their family. When I saw this digi I had to have a play, isn't it so sweet?
I used some gorgeous Glitz Design papers, Prima flowers, a Tim Holtz ticket and a doily from my stash.
Then I decorated a gift bag for the pressie to go into, I used a WOJ stamp 'Baby Henry'and some old papers from my stash.
And a sneak peek of Lime Tart's May a la Tarte kit, I had so many faves in this kit!
